    Internship Information

    • Master of Science in Exercise Science (MSES) online program students have the option to complete a capstone project or an internship as a culminating experience that allows you to apply knowledge and skills attained in your academic curriculum, in real-life professional settings. The Exercise Physiology internship requires 150 hours of completion and will be taken during the second module of the Spring semester (S2).

      1. Register for the EXS 5400 course. 
      2. Students who choose to complete an internship must have all of the required paperwork fully completed and submitted on Handshake. The website to enter information: https://joinhandshake.com/
      3. The student will enter an experience, with their site information
      4.   Once you enter the site information into Handshake, it will go to Mandi Oliver for review.  Once approved, it will go to your site supervisor to approve. 
      5. Students must have permission from the instructor; some sites may require background checks, drug tests, etc.  This will be at the cost of the student.  No tests are required for typical internships.
