Description of internship (duties, hours, population served): *
This internship would be with the Adoption Support & Preservation program, providing post-adoption clinical services for families. There may be opportunities to shadow or work with the clinical team for the Foster Care and Intact programs, as well. Hours are flexible, but there does need to be some availability within M-F daytime hours. This internship is an excellent opportunity to grow skills in providing trauma-informed, attachment-focused, adoption-competent services. Several training opportunities would be offered for treatment models effective for helping youth with complex trauma.
