CA counseling has 3 Advanced Placement interns that will have the opportunity to shadow sessions with three Clinically advanced licensed clinicians. Interns will be assigned to one of these clinicians where they will begin their internship shadowing in sessions and taking notes, moving into a co-facilitated role, and then being assigned their own caseload while our Licensed Clinicians will be using a ZOOM way mirror. Each Clinician will spend direct time with each intern following sessions for the opportunity to process and ask questions or provide active feedback (at least 1hour weekly supervision). They will also have opportunities to shadow, prep-for, and co-facilitate groups. In addition, they will receive training once per week (2.5hrs) in a group setting where they will focus on DSM5 and treatment modalities and interventions. Additionally we will be having quarterly 2.5 hour trainings that will be CEU focused for all staff that they might participate in.
