Description of internship (duties, hours, population served): *
Advocate position working with families and their children (ages 3 to 17) impacted by abuse (both sexual and physical) and violence. Advocate is responsible for providing crisis counseling, case management, court advocacy, and working with various police departments DCFS, medical providers, mental health providers, and other team members. The Proviso CAC is a program under Amita Health Care. .
