The Milwaukee VA Medical Center (VAMC) is excited to receive the next cohort of MSW interns and look forward to working with you! We are now accepting student applications for the upcoming academic year 2021-2022. The application window will close April 2, 2021. Please carefully follow the instructions below to apply for a field placement at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center or one of its associated clinics in Appleton or Green Bay. Please note we do not have evening or weekend internships. We do not provide virtual internships. Interviews will occur in April 2021.
March 2, 2021 through April 2, 2021: Email: Latia.Russell@va.gov with the subject line Social Work Internship. The email serves as a receipt of your application for a Milwaukee VAMC internship.
- Complete the attached application.
- Combine the completed application, resume and cover letter into one attachment (i.e. scan the printed documents or create a zip file). We appreciate one attachment with all information included for tracking purposes.
- Attach the one file to the email.
- In the body of the email, please include: name, email address and current MSW Program specialization/track.
