This course explores the creation and evolution of the Department of Homeland Security and homeland security itself in the US. It takes an in depth look at the various agencies, goals, operations and players in US security. It examines both Intelligence and traditional defense of the US, and the changes initiated by the events culminating in the devastating attack on 9-11.
